Ludo MVP Races features Four Bold Stars Mubiru Emmanuel, Matovu Huzaifa, Nagaddya Beth and Mutebi Arthur

If the electronic voting is done, declaration of final results will be done on 12th January, 2023. This therefore means the electronic voting exercise will end on 10th January, 2023 to enable the national electoral committee for the federation to tally the results.

Yes, Sports calendar have turned to 2023, and the Ludo schedule is nearing its beginning. It’s high time to award the season’s stretch players run.

Four bold players Mubiru Emmanuel, Matovu Huzaifa, Nagaddya Beth, Mutebi Arthur and feature on the most loaded MVP race in local Ludo history.

In team sports, a most valuable player award, abbreviated ‘MVP award’, is an honor typically bestowed upon an individual, or individuals, in the instance of a tie whose individual performance is the greatest in an entire season.

The purpose of the award is recognizing the contribution of the individual’s efforts amongst a group effort, and to highlight the excellence, exemplariness, and/or outstandingness of a player’s performance amidst the performance of their peers in question.

So for season 2022 as they head to 2023 season ahead, the Ludo MVP nominees list is one that is star studied featuring three men and one magnanimous woman.

The Uganda Ludo federation’s technical and competitions committee nominated these four candidates to contest for the best player award (MVP), 2022.

Mubiru Emmanuel;

He was part of the National Team (Uganda Doves) that recently won the World Ludo Championship, 2022 that were held in Nepal and Dubai.

The skilled player was not only very instrumental on national duty, but he also contributed a lot to his team Nansana Galaxy who were crowned as champions of the 2022 National Ludo Super League.

Matovu Huzaifa;

It’s by no surprise that the captain of Uganda Doves is among the nominees for this prestigious award.

Like Mubiru, Matovu had a prolific campaign where he helped win the 2022 World Ludo championship, before he could further help his club Masaka Giants to become the runner’s up in the super league, 2022.

Nagaddya Beth;

Aligned among and against the men, Nagaddya Beth is the best African and Ugandan female Ludo player.

With her dazzling performances, Beth was recently recognized as the best female player in the World Ludo Championship, 2022 after showing her master of class dicing with men.

She also played an integral role in Nansana Galaxy who triumphed the 2022 top flight trophy.

Last November, she was awarded the month’s Ludo player by the monthly Forte bet Real Stars awards.

Mutebi Arthur;

He is a Nansana Galaxy gold medalist as well as mini-trophy achiever as the super league, 2022 best player MVP.

Arther was very influential in the Nansana Galaxy team that won its first ever National Ludo Super League title.

Voting eligibility is for and by well-trained referees with a valid certificate obtained from the federation. Team coaches with a valid certificate also obtained from the federation.

And, the players of the sport with a valid license for super league.

The winner will be awarded during the annual June assembly.
