H.E, the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has commended the various Security Agencies for their successful efforts in ensuring a secure environment during the Non-Aligned Movement and G77 summits held from January 15th to 22nd, 2024.
Addressing officers at Kololo Independence grounds today 1st February 2024, the President congratulated all security agencies for their exemplary work in safeguarding the summits without any security threats. He urged the officers to prioritize peace and stability.
“Thank you for your contribution to Africa’s PR. It’s reassuring that you demonstrated Uganda’s capability. Congratulations, and I appreciate your efforts,” said the President.
Additionally, he stressed patriotism, stating, “Don’t join the police or the army for money; we are soldiers because of patriotism.
