The Branch that has been opened up in Hoima by Housing Finance Bank, their 18th branch in the Country is an exciting milestone for the financial institution as a bank and a significant stride towards their core purpose of providing convenient, affordable, relevant solutions to Ugandans.

On the official opening ceremony, the Bank was honorably joined by Bank of Uganda’s Hannington Wasswa (Director of Commercial Banking BOU), Presidential Advisor on Oil and Gas, Dr Fred Kaliisa, Hoima City Lord Mayor Brian Kaboyo, District Governor Kikuube- Hon Peter Banura LC 5 Kikuube, RDC Hoima, Bunyoro Kitara kingdom and religious leaders.

Housing Finance Bank commitment is providing exceptionally affordable, convenient service and being a trusted financial partner is at the heart of everything they do.

Hoima Branch is therefore an extension of that commitment, and we will strive to deliver on that promise every day of the bank’s stay in the Country.

Housing Finance Bank first incorporated as a private limited company in 1967 as Housing Finance Company Uganda Limited, carrying out business as a non-banking credit institution providing mortgage finance and also accepting savings deposits from the public.

They became licensed and regulated by Bank of Uganda as a commercial Bank in 2007 to carry on business of a banking under the Financial Institutions Act and changed into a public limited liability company known as Housing Finance Bank Limited.
